“Let the beat hit ‘em!!”

Like a DJ switching tracks and mixing beats to birth new melodies, DannyEarl Woodson has flipped and shuffled his life, bursting onto NYC DJ scene.

Even as little boy, DannyEarl knew the power of music in an intimate way.  He watched gospel music work churchgoers into frenzy! “Man, I mean during church they were actually laid out under benches after a good groove got a hold of them!”

He understood then, as he knows now that if you master beats and rhythms, you can turn the place upside down!

In 2008 while working in NYC’s fashion district DannyEarl began making mixes for his favorite industry insiders.  His mixes soon became a requested novelty at the studio and at local cafés/bars.  It was around this time when he left New York’s elite fashion scene and began to pursue a serious DJ career.

Using his connections in the fashion world he scored gigs for private parties and industry functions.  Living in New York City provides endless opportunities and his appearances have been wide ranging, from special events at Gracie Mansion to hip small Brooklyn clubs, he even landed Vogue Magazine’s Brooklyn Party.

With all the excitement around his start, he won the intrigue of ABC Eyewitness News which ran an Evening News story focusing on the start of his new career, check it out at:

A natural at styling music, his compilations can be heard in boutiques and restaurants across New York City, including Greenwich Village, Soho and the Meat Packing District.

DannyEarl is currently expanding his resume and looking to take the NYC party playground by storm.

“I like to play for the sexy people, it’s just something about seeing the way I make them groove.”
